MAGUINDANAO, Philippines – A couple working for the city government of Cotabato were killed in an attack by a lone assailant in Datu Odin, Maguindanao on Saturday night.
Jorge Busque and his wife, Malou, were on their way home in a car when they were shot near a training complex of the Army’s 6th Infantry Division.
Busque was a consultant while Malou was chief of the Cotabato City public employment office.
Chief Inspector Lendsy Sinsuat of the Datu Odin police said investigators have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
