LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – A magnitude 4.7 earthquake shook Masbate on Wednesday night, state seismologists said.
Ed Laguerta of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake was felt at Intensity 4 in Masbate; Intensity 3 in Irosin, Sorsogon; Intensity 2 in Uson, Masbate, and Intensity 1 in Bulusan, Sorsogon.
No injury or damage to property was reported in the quake, which occured at 10:37 p.m.
