Classes suspended for 'Kabayan'

MANILA, Philippines — Classes in several areas in Luzon have been suspended on Friday due to tropical storm "Kabayan."

Preschool classes in areas where public storm warning signals No. 1 are raised are automatically suspended, while preschool, elementary and high school classes in areas under Signal No. 2 are also called off.

According to weather bureau PAGASA, most parts of Luzon will experience rainy weather with gusty winds due to the presence of the typhoon.

It is expected to leave the Philippine area of responsibility by Saturday morning.
