TAGKAWAYAN, Quezon, Philippines- – A businessman was shot dead by motorcycle-riding men here Saturday.
Wiliam Antiquerra, 47, was declared dead on arrival at the Maria Lourdes District Hospital due to several gunshot wounds in the body.
The victim was tending his shop in Barangay Rizal when the assailants arrived and shot him at around 7:30 a.m.
Investigators have yet to determine the motive for the attack.
Meanwhile, a woman was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in Ramon, Isabela Saturday.
Marcelina Ordanza had just stepped out of her sister’s house in Barangay San Miguel when she was killed, said Chief Inspector Juancho Alobba, town police chief.
Two bullet shells for a caliber .45 pistol were recovered at the crime scene.
