BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – An 80-year-old woman and her 64-year-old brother were found dead at a sugarcane plantation in Silay City, Negros Occidental Monday.
Rosalina Cenabri and her brother Wilfredo were found by a laborer at around 7 a.m. in Barangay Rizal, said Police Officer 3 Jomarie Lachica.
Rosalina was found 200 meters away from her brother. The bodies bore no injuries.
The two were reported missing by their family at about 11 a.m. Sunday.
The family said Rosalina was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. They said the siblings leave the house every day to harvest vegetables.
