MANILA, Philippines - A mild earthquake hit parts of Central Visayas yesterday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The epicenter of the tremor, which occurred at 9:33 a.m., was located six kilometers northwest of Danao town in Bohol, Phivolcs said.
It was felt at Intensity 1 in Busay, Cebu.
Phivolcs said the quake was tectonic in origin.
