MANILA, Philippines - Two persons were injured after the car they were riding turned turtle while speeding along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue in Quezon City, before dawn Tuesday.
The injured persons were identified as Erwin Chua, 19 and Christine Bautista.
Initial reports said that the car was about to make a U-turn when another vehicle cut through its path, forcing Chua to steer toward the center island along the EDSA-P. Tuazon underpass in Cubao district.
The car turned turtle after ramming the center island.
Bystanders rushed to the scene and pulled out the victims from their vehicle.
