NORTH COTABATO, Philippines –– Two persons died while three others were injured when a cargo truck plunged into a ravine in President Roxas town here last Friday.
Jonas Trecero and Hilario de Juan died at the scene, said Senior Inspector Jojit Nicolas, spokesman for the provincial police office.
Taken to the hospital for treatment were Michael Aviar, Conrado Trecero and Porferio Napalit.
Nicolas said the victims were passengers of the cargo truck heading for the town proper from Davao City.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the accident.
