BALANGA CITY, Philippines – The government is allocating P100 million for the widening of the Bataan Expressway next year.
Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) chairman Charlie Pizarro told The STAR on Thursday the road-widening project will start from Barangay Balsic in Hermosa town near the Pampanga-Bataan boundary to the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) in Mariveles.
He said another project is the installation of high-tech closed-circuit television cameras along the intersections of the national road from Hermosa to Mariveles and in the coastal town of Bagac in preparation for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in 2015.
