BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – The province of Quirino will experience a 10-hour power outage tomorrow due to the repair of power facilities of the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP).
The power interruption from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. will enable the company to conduct an annual preventive maintenance of its facilities along the Cordon-Aglipay 69kV line segment, said Lilibeth Gaydowen, NGCP North Luzon public affairs officer.
Gaydowen said they were also set to replace some wooden power poles as well as transmission lines during the day-long power outage to improve service in the Luzon grid.
Tomorrow’s power interruption will affect parts of the Isabela Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Iselco I) covering the municipality of Cordon as well as the villages of Sinsayon, Dubinan West, Plaridel,Rosario, Patul, Villa Gonzaga and San Isidro in Santiago City.
Power supply is expected to resume after work completion, Gaydowen said.
