CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – A woman and her daughter died when their motorcycle collided with a private van in Tuy, Batangas yesterday.
Marcela Rejas and her daughter Alyzza Rejas were on their way to their store when they figured in an accident in Barangay Tumbangan at around 6:30 a.m., said Police Officer 2 Benedict de Jesus.
The victims were declared dead on arrival at the Apacible Memorial Hospital.
Van driver Maximino Makabili was arrested after the incident. Charges of reckless imprudence resulting in double homicide and damage to property were readied against him.
