BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – A Chinese national and his Filipina business partner were shot dead by motorcycle riding men in Placer town in Surigao del Norte Friday.
Qiang Hu Lie, 36, of Beijing, China, and Rizzel Telin dela Cruz, 22, were killed at the scene after the gunmen shot them in Barangay Bugas-Bugas.
Police said the suspects fled after the killing.
