MALOLOS CITY, Philippines – Police filed murder charges yesterday against two men for the killing of the chief of staff of a Bulacan provincial board member two weeks ago.
Superintendent Donato Bait, Malolos police chief, identified the suspects as Michael Angelo Bautista and Roberto Mendoza, who are both still at large.
They were indicted for the April 10 ambush-killing of Edwin Inocencio, 43, chief of staff of first district board member Michael Fermin.
A break in the case came when a witness surfaced, said Malolos Mayor Christian Natividad.
