MANILA, Philippines - A student of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery was found dead inside his rented flat in the University Belt area on Tuesday.
While police are still determining the cause of Kelvin Discutido's death, his colleagues in the university take to Twitter to express their surprise over his sudden demise and mourn their lost friend.
Mourning for a friend, you will be missed dearly @kelvindiscutido . Rest in peace.

In a televised report by ABS-CBN News, Discutido's remains were discovered by his classmates Tuesday afternoon.
Special Police Officer 1 Jonathan Moreno said there were no traces of forced entry into the apartment as the doors and windows remained lock from inside the room.
Discutido, 21, graduated from his baccalaureate degree with honors and passed the board exams for medical technologists as a topnotcher.
Discutido's latest traceable post online was last December 16 on Instagram where he displayed a shot of a cookie.
"Thanks, Sachi, for your cinnamon-flavored oatmeal Olaf cookies. Hahaha!" the late student raved.
