CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga , Philippines – Two detainees who escaped from a jail in Camarines Sur surrendered to the Bulacan police on Friday.
Erwin Capuz, 32, and Moriel San Joaquin, 22, both of Camarines Sur, gave themselves up to Superintendent Joel Estaris, chief of police of the City of San Jose Del Monte.
The surrender was made possible after the relatives of the detainees sought the help of the police, according to Chief Superintendent Raul Petrasanta, director of the Police Regional Office 3.
