MANILA, Philippines - An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) would bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.
The weather bureau said a northeast monsoon would affect the Northern Luzon.
Metro Manila and the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast would prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters would be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, the winds would be light to moderate from the northeast to northwest with slight to moderate seas.
