MANILA, Philippines - A total of 33,734 examinees will take the Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance and promotional examinations today in several testing centers nationwide.
National Police Commission (Napolcom) vice chairman and executive officer Eduardo Escueta said of the number, 13,651 would take the entrance test while the 20,083 the promotional exams.
A total of 1,394 of the 13,651 entrance examinees and 3,125 of the 20,083 promotional testers would take the test at the Pitogo High School, Benigno Aquino High School and the Fort Bonifacio High School, all in Makati City.
Escueta said today’s examinations would cover the qualifying test for Police Officer 1 and the promotional examinations for Police Officers 2 and 3, Senior Police Officers 1 to 4, Police Inspector and Senior Inspector, and Police Superintendent (for Chief Inspector and Superintendent).
Director Josephmar Gil, Napolcom acting personnel and administrative service chief, said aside from Makati, the examinations would be held in cities of Angeles, Butuan, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calamba, Calapan, Cebu, Cotabato, Davao, Iba, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Pagadian, Romblon, San Fernando in La Union, Tac-loban, and Tuguegarao.
