MANILA, Philippines - The police on Tuesday filed criminal charges before the Department of Justice (DOJ) against six men tagged in the killing of advertising executive Kae Davantes.
Senior Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac, spokesperson of the Philippine National Police, said charges of qualified carnapping and robbery with homicide were lodged against Reggie Diel, Lloyd Benedict Enriquez, Samuel Decimo, Kelvin Jorek Evangelista, Jomar Pepito and Baser Minalang at the DOJ's National Prosecution Service.
Only three of the suspects are in the custody of the police and the National Bureau of Investigation. Evangelista, Pepito, and Minalang remain at large.

Sindac said the National Capital Region-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group filed the cases at around 12:23 p.m. Tuesday.
Present during the proceeding was Vicente Davantes, who acted as the complainant on behalf of the Davantes family, Sindac added.
The body of Kae, 25, was found under a bridge in Dasmarinas, Cavite last September 7, just hours after she left her office at the Bonifacio Global Center in Taguig City.
The victim's mouth was gagged while her hands were tussled up behind her back with the seatbelt when found. She also bore a stab wound in the chest.
