MANILA, Philippines - Several classes have remained suspended in three regions, including Metro Manila, due to the effects of typhoon Labuyo, which exited the country late Monday, the state disaster response agency reported on Tuesday.
In its report, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said pre-school to high school classes in Taguig and pre school classes Valenzuela cities in the National Capital Region are still suspended.
Meanwhile, classes in pre-school to high school levels are suspended in the province of Pangasinan and only pre-school level classes in Angeles, Pampanga are canceled, the report said.
The NDRRMC said classes in all levels in Baliuag University in Bulacan province are suspended today.
The NDRRMC has placed the damage to property in Regions 1 and 2 at P57.4 million after typhoon battered the country Monday.
