MANILA, Philippines - A bus driver was killed while 21 passengers were injured Wednesday morning after the vehicle rammed into a trailer truck in Quezon province.
Police report said that around 6:50 a.m., a Fuso-Mitsubishi truck (RJT- 746) driven by Marcelino Hererra Martin, was negotiating the curved descending portion of diversion road along Maharlika Highway, Brgy. Malinao Ilaya, Atimonan, Quezon when it collided with a CUL Transport Bus (HVP-754).
The bus driver instantly died when he was pinned inside the vehicle while the injured passengers were brought to a hospital, the report added.
