TUGUEGARAO CITY , Philippines – Over 50 village officials of Pila, Laguna on their “Lakbay Aral†in the north were rushed to the Gabriela Silang General Hospital in Vigan City after showing symptoms of food poisoning last Saturday.
Baltazar Artecona, chairman of Barangay Narico, Pila town, said members of their group experienced severe stomach pain, vomiting and loose bowel movement while they were on their way to Ilocos Sur.
According to the victims, they last took food during breakfast at an Ilocos Norte hotel before they left for Ilocos Sur.
