LUCENA CITY, Philippines – Former Quezon governor Eduardo Rodriguez has quit the congressional race in the province’s third district to lend support to the Liberal Party’s candidate, lawyer and environmental advocate Shiela de Leon.
Rodriguez also withdrew his resignation from the LP to campaign for the party’s candidates, specifically De Leon who is pitted against Aleta Suarez, wife of incumbent Rep. Danilo Suarez.
