CALASIAO, Pangasinan, Philippines – An official of the Bureau of Internal Revenue-Region 1 was shot dead along Barangay Laip Otel here Friday.
Antonio Mesina, 59, a resident of Barangay Longos, was driving his Nissan Sentra car (TOL-304) when two men on a black Honda motorcycle shot him, SPO2 Ricardo Sapiera told The STAR.
Mesina suffered four gunshot wounds in different parts of the body.
Police are still investigating the motive for the killing.
