TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A three-year-old girl was killed on the spot when her five-year-old playmate brought out his father’s shotgun and toyed with it in Allacapan, Cagayan last weekend.
The boy accidentally pulled the trigger of the 12-gauge shotgun, hitting the girl in the head.
Police said the two children were playing in the boy’s house.
The boy’s father, a driver, was detained and charged with negligence and illegal possession of firearm.
