The National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council on Thursday said that confirmed dead in Southern Philippines in the wake of typhoon Pablo has reached to 902.
Based on the 6. a.m. update of the NDRRMC, search, rescue and retrieval teams have yet to account for 635 people who have remained missing.
The NDRRMC also reported that there are 415 people rescued while 2,661 were hurt during the typhoon.
Around 5.4 million people were affected by the typhoon in 30 provinces in Regions IV-B, VI, VII, IX, X, XI, XII and Caraga. People in the 63 evacuation centers have thinned to 79, 885, the NDRRMC said.
The NDRRMC also reported that there is still no power in 35 areas in Mindanao while 19 bridges and seven roads have remained impassable as of this posting.
