TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A former barangay tanod chief was killed in an ambush in Barangay Sta. Ana, Solsona, Ilocos Norte Sunday night.
Police said Federico Buenavista said the victim was riding his motorcycle on his way home after watching a basketball game when he was shot.
Last Saturday, a man was killed and another was critically wounded åin an ambush in nearby Sarrat town.
