ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – A civilian asset, who had helped in pinpointing Abu Sayyaf militants, and his son were killed while his daughter was seriously wounded in a gun attack in a coastal village here last Thursday, police said.
Chief Inspector Roberto Marcos, police Station 10 commander, identified the fatalities as Jack Hamja Lahaman, 46, and his six-year-old son Justine. Wounded was Lahaman’s seven-year-old daughter Claire Ann Jane, while nine-year-old son Jayvin was unhurt.
Police said Lahaman and his children were on their way home from school onboard a motorcycle when they were fired at by two unidentified men.
