CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines – Two children were killed in rain-induced landslides that struck San Juan and Rosario towns in Batangas last Thursday, authorities said.
Vicente Tomazar, chairman of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, identified the casualties as Princess Najera, 4, and Nemmy Mary Ann Dapa, 12, of Barangay Ugong, San Juan and Barangay Matamis, Rosario, respectively.
