DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – Pope Benedict XVI has appointed Bishop Renato Mayugba as the new bishop for the diocese of Laoag in Ilocos Norte.
Mayugba, currently the auxiliary bishop of Lingayen-Dagupan archdiocese, will succeed Archbishop Sergio Utleg.
