DAVAO CITY, Philippines – Davao City 1st District Rep.Karlo Nograles, son of former House speaker Prospero Nograles, filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) yesterday.
Davao City 2nd District Rep. Malene Garcia-Albano and 3rd District Rep. Isidro Ungab are also seeking reelection in next year’s polls. The two congressmen are expected to join the rest of the Duterte-led Hugpong para sa Tawong Lungsod local party candidates when they file their COCs.
It still remains to be seen if who between Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and her father Davao City Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte would seek the mayoral and the first district representative posts here.
