ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – A farmer and his three children were killed when a tornado hit Barangay Kabaluran, Midsalip town in Zamboanga del Sur over the weekend, a disaster official said yesterday.
Office of Civil Defense regional director Adriano Fuego identified the victims as Miguel Mandao, 46; Miguel Jr., 14; Mario, 13; and Vilam, eight.
Mandao’s wife and two other children suffered injuries and were brought to a hospital.
