CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – At least 18 people were injured when the passenger bus they were riding lost its brake, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle along the new diversion road in Barangay Sil Malicboy, Pagbilao, Quezon, yesterday morning.
Quezon police director Senior Superintendent Valerio de Leon said the passengers, including the driver of Philtranco bus (EVJ-973), were rushed to Jane Country Hospital.
De Leon said most of the victims suffered minor injuries.
