CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – Police authorities believed that the four unidentified bodies found along the Ninoy Aquino Highway in Barangay San Roque, Magalang, Pampanga were victims of summary execution.
Senior Superintendent Edgardo Tinio, Pampanga police provincial director, said he has ordered Superintendent Rodney Balayo, Magalang police chief, to investigate the incident.
Tinio said soldiers and policemen patrolling the area discovered the bodies.
The victims were all blindfolded with packing tape and their hands and feet tied with nylon cord, the report said.
They also suffered stab wounds in different parts of the body.
