CALAPAN CITY, Philippines – A motorboat reportedly carrying illegally cut logs and three crewmen capsized off Looc, Occidental Mindoro Wednesday morning, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said yesterday.
In a report, Lt. Cmdr. Algier Ricafrente, PCG public affairs chief, said the PCG station in Mamburao town got a radio message that the unregistered motorboat sank off Barangay Talao-Tao, Looc town.
He said locals rescued the three crewmen while the hot logs drifted in different directions.
