CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – The body of a Pakistan businessman who was kidnapped by three armed men wearing National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) uniforms in Dinalupihan, Bataan on Monday night, was found in Floridablanca town this province the following day.
Senior Superintendent Arnold Gunnacao, Bataan police director, said the victim, Mohammad Shahid Nadeem, 32, was seized at the Dinalupihan public market by men who introduced themselves as NBI agents and asked for his papers.
Gunnacao said the armed men dragged Nadeem into an unlicensed XLT jeepney.
The following morning, Nadeem’s body was found near the Gumain River in Barangay Pabamlag, Floridablanca town.
A manhunt is on for the suspects, one of them identified as Delmar Dizon.
