Suspect in P'sinan cop chief's murder surrenders

ALAMINOS CITY ,Philippines  – The suspect in the killing of the police chief of Bayambang town and his wife has surrendered to the police here.

Superintendent Rolie Saltat, city police chief, told The STAR yesterday they would file double murder charges against Lyndon Millan, 41, elder brother of Superintendent Lloyd Millan, 39, who together with his wife Cherryl, 39, was gunned down Sunday in a barangay hall here.

Saltat said he and Mayor Hernani Braganza had received text messages from the suspect, who works at the Public Order and Safety Office in the city hall, for his surrender, several hours after the incident.

Saltat said Lyndon told him that he did not regret killing his own brother and sister-in-law.

The STAR learned that Lloyd had been at odds with his parents and siblings due to a dispute involving their family's salt farm.
