MANILA, Philippines - Three suspected robbers were killed in a shootout with policemen yesterday morning in Peñablanca town in Cagayan.
Cagayan region police director Chief Superintendent Francisco Villaroman said the encounter took place at around 3:30 a.m. in Barangay Minanga yesterday.
Police also recovered two motorcycles, two .45 caliber pistols, one Uzi machine pistol and ammunition for .45 caliber pistol and 9-millimeter pistol. – Cecille Suerte Felipe, Charlie Lagasca, Raymund Catindig
