Imus commemorates Feast of Sto. Niño

MANILA, Philippines - In line with the 350th jubilee and to commemorate the Feast of Sto. Niño, the Church of Our Lady of Assumption in Imus, Cavite will celebrate a Mass today at 10 a.m.

Along with the Mass is the bathing of the Sto. Niño, whose water will be distributed to its devotees.

Other activities include the coronation night of the Miss Sto. Niño on Jan. 2, 2011; a dance dubbed as “Karakol” which will be offered to the Sto. Niño; and a fluvial procession on Jan. 5 at 1 p.m.

At 5 p.m. on Jan. 5, a High Mass will be celebrated by Imus Bishop Luis Antonio Tagle. On Jan. 6, the feast day, Masses will be offered hourly starting at 4 a.m. until the procession.
