BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – At least 80 people suffered from food poisoning on Wednesday after consuming food pre-packed earlier during an outreach mission, which also marked the 66th birthday of Rep. Carlos Padilla in mountainous Santa Fe town.
The victims, mostly from villages near the town’s gymnasium where the event was held, were all rushed in batches to the provincial hospital in Bambang town after suffering from stomach cramps, vomiting, dizziness and dehydration.
