CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A Taiwanese national was gunned down by motorcycle riding armed men along a barangay road at Sitio Mayamot, Barangay Cutcut 2nd, Tarlac, Sunday.

In his report here, Senior Superintendent Rudy Lacadin, Tarlac provincial police director, identified the fatality as Wu Ping, 60, a Taiwanese national who temporarily resides in Banawe, Quezon City.

The victim together with another Taiwanese friend, a certain Lee Yng Lang, 50, of Barangay Cutcut 2nd, Capas, Tarlac, were traveling toward west direction but upon reaching the barangay, the gunmen suddenly appeared and flagged down their pickup, said Lacadin.

Two of the suspects then, alighted from their motorcycle and ordered the victim to open the window of his pickup.
