US military allows public to board in aircraft

CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga-For the first time in the history of US-RP joint military exercises, the public will be allowed not only to view but inspect the innards of modern military aircraft such as the giant C-130 cargo plane and the Cobra attack helicopters, during an exhibit here this Saturday and Sunday.

2nd Lt. Airos Marian Soria, spokesperson of the Talon Vision 2008 joint military exercises said that families can come in the weekend not only to see but touch as well the modern aircraft that they see only in the movies.

The exhibit will be open from 8 a.m. -11 a.m. Children and parents will be allowed to board the aircraft and take pictures.

US and Filipino troops are in Clark for the annual military exercises under the Visiting Forces Agreement.  Ding Cervantes
