Doble's wife, Rez Cortez appeas before Senate wiretapping inquiry

A number of personalities appeared Tuesday before the Senate committees reinvestigating the 'Hello Garci' controversy, including the wife of former military intelligence agent T/Sgt. Vidal Doble and movie actor Rez Cortez.

However, Doble himself was not present in today's hearing.

Also present at the hearing were former senator Sergio Osmeña III, Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay and representatives from telecommunications companies Globe and Smart.

Senator Rodolfo Biazon, committee chair on national defense and security, is spearheading the Senate inquiry.

The inquiry is looking into the wiretapped phone conversation between President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and former elections commissioner Virgilio Garcillano over alleged plans to rig the May 2004 elections.
