Report: Rod Strunk dead in fall, a possible suicide

The husband of murdered actress Nida Blanca was reported dead after a fall from a two-story building in California, according to media reports Saturday.

Roger "Rod" Strunk, 68, and husband of Blanca (Dorothy Jones in real life) was reported to have been found dead outside the Tracy Inn last Tuesday.

The police have ruled it a suicide, noting there were no indications of foul play.

Strunk was one of the prime suspects in Blanca's murder in November 2001.  Arrested suspect Philip Medel had tagged Strunk as the one who hired him to kill the actress.

Strunk was allowed to leave for the US in 2002 to visit his mother, Helen Strunk and never returned to the Philippines.  Murder charges were eventually filed against him but was not extradited.
