VIENNA (AFP) - Portuguese Foreign Minister Luis Amado said Thursday in Vienna that Iran's nuclear programme would be one of the main concerns of his country's current European presidency.
"The European Union wants to participate with its programme of dialogue with the Iranian government in order to maintain all options for a peaceful settlement of the crisis," Amado told reporters, according to the German translation of his comments in Portuguese.
Amado also reiterated hopes that the EU would quickly adopt reforms towards a new constitution.
