Police said the suspects likewise divested the security guards firearms and personal belongings in a 15-minute heist.
Senior Superintendent Edmund Zaide, Batangas police director, said Santiago Balucanag, 40; Bencio Cortas, 31; Limuel Paras, 26; and Joseph Palas, 37, of Lockheed Security Agency were caught off-guard when the armed suspects stormed at the NFA compound in Barangay Balagtas at around 9 p.m.
Investigation showed that the suspects arrived at the warehouse aboard a Mitsubishi Pajero. They immediately disarmed the astonished guards, tied and locked them up inside the storeroom.
Subsequently, the suspects ransacked the NFA cashiers office, the computer room and the provincial managers office and carted away an undetermined amount of money and valuable items.
