SEAIR opens Manila to Baler regular flights

Domestic carrier South East Airlines (SEAIR) will open today two weekly flights to Baler, Aurora, making it more accessible to local and foreign tourists who are continuously flocking to the seaside town that is now considered as a "surfers’ paradise."

The regular flights between Manila and Baler will start today with the inaugural run taking off from the Manila Domestic Airport. The flight will be initially offered regularly everyMonday and Friday, with the Baler-bound flights departing from the domestic airport at 8 a.m., and the return flight to Manila from the Baler Airport is scheduled at 9:30 a.m.

One-way fare is set at P2,500 inclusive of VAT, passenger insurance, and other charges.

SEAIR will make available their 19-seater planes to service their new route.

To make the flight more accessible, SEAIR had arranged a partnership with major bus transport operator Genesis Transport Services, the only regular air-conditioned bus operator servicing the Manila to Baler route, which will handle all ground components and related services.

Aurora Gov. Bella Angara-Castillo, said that SEAIR’s opening of the route is expected to dramatically boost the province’s economy.
