In a belated report reaching the provincial police office, the fatality was identified as Jack Edosma Faulkner Beverford, 46, single. He sustained a gunshot wound in the chest from a caliber .45 pistol.
The report identified the suspect as Conrado Molano, married, an LTO employee in Dagupan City and also a resident of Barangay Tonton.
SPO1 Armando Urbano told The STAR in a phone interview that last June 9, the victim and his friends were on their way home from a videoke bar when they met the suspect and an unidentified companion. A heated argument ensued that resulted in the killing of the victim.
Police investigation showed that Molano is a licensed firearm holder of a caliber .45 pistol. The town police will request the Firearm and Explosive Unit for the comparison of the three recovered spent shells at the crime scene.
