In an order dated April 28, Customs Commissioner Alberto Lina designated Lourdes Mangaoang as the new district collector of Cebu.
In the same order, Lim was ordered to reassume his old position as deputy collector for operations in Cebu.
Lina installed Lim last week as acting Cebu district collector after the Civil Service Commission (CSC) ousted Billy Bibit for lack of eligibility.
The position requires a career executive service officer (CESO) eligibility from the CSC, which Bibit tried to pass but failed several times.
Mangaoang is expected to formally assume her new assignment in Cebu today.
Former Cebu Customs collector Roberto Sacramento was ordered to replace Mangaoang in Cagayan de Oro City.
Twenty-four other Customs officials were affected by the revamp.
They included Batangas collector Napoleon Morales who was reassigned to the Office of the Commissioner; Adelina Molina, from Manila to Batangas; Juan Tan from San Fernando to Davao; Edward Baltazar from Manila to San Fernando; Aniceto Sanchez, acting Davao district collector of Davao to deputy Davao collector for operations; Gerardo Gonzalez Jr., from the Office of the Commissioner to deputy Davao collector for assessment; Carlos Corsiga, from Davao to the Office of the Commissioner; Leovigildo de Castro, from bonded warehouse division chief of Manila to acting deputy Manila collector; Felimon Mendoza, from piers inspection division chief of Manila to the bonded warehouse division of the same port; and Gerardo Macatangay, who replaced Mendoza.
The other Customs officials affected were Jaime Perez, Arsenia Ilagan, Marites Martin, Lucila Medina, Elpidio Rimando, Gliceria Umandap, Emmeline David, William Dionesio, Antonio Meliton Pascual, Clarita Santos, Leonardo Peralta, Cecil Sison, Rolando Buyao and Ricardo Morales II.
