Talisay City Mayor Eduardo "Edigul" Gullas, one of the founders and now regional secretary general of Alayon, said the party has not ruled with finality yet with which national party it is going to coalesce but that "it could possibly be Lakas-NPC."
Close to 500 Alayon leaders, from Talisay to Sibonga town, attended the partys grand convention led by the Gullas brothers, Mayor Edigul and first district Rep. Jose "Dodong" Gullas, the district chairman.
Edigul was Alayons original founder in 1986 while Senator John "Sonny" Osmeña, was his co-founder.
The party later approved four major political moves including its plan to forge an alliance with a national party, whose principles complement Alayons. The party members, however, have not decided yet on what party to coalesce with. Freeman News Service
