PCSO Regional Operations Manager Carlito Kho told The STAR that the winner, who failed to identify himself probably for security reasons, asked how to go to the PCSO Central Office in Manila and present the winning lotto tickets.
"He was asking every valuable information including some security measures in presenting the winning ticket at the PCSO office in Quezon City, who to contact, and where and when to present the winning ticket" says Kho.
Kho said he understood why the caller failed to identify himself even if he told the caller that he is a PCSO official.
"It is but natural for a person who had just won some P33.67-million to conceal his identify," he said.
Kho confirmed that two of the six lucky jackpot lotto winners nationwide came from Butuan City.
The six winners had to divide among themselves the P202-million jackpot prize in last Thursdays 6/49 draw.
The two winning lotto tickets were sold at the Mendoza Sweepstakes ticket outlet at A.D. Curato st., this city.
"Officially this is the first time Butuan City got the jackpot lotto prize and it pays because it help a lot in the sales of lotto tickets for the past two days now," admits Kho. Ben Serrano
